Working with Councils

The ECSLP supports local councils and organisations working with diverse communities to develop their own projects and foster participation in council and other environmental activities. This includes project advice, information about local, state and Commonwealth programs and rebates, access to translated resources and specialist bilingual facilitators.
Assistance is available to councils and community organisations to support the development of their own culturally appropriate communication and education materials. Focus testing of translations is available to ensure that the right message and meaning is conveyed to the community.
