Earth Hour 2011

26/03/2011 8:30:00 PM

The ECC and ECSLP team are delighted to announce our involvement in this year’s Earth Hour. This important international event held from 8.30pm-9.30pm on March 26th highlights how much difference small actions can make when a united effort is made. This year, the goal is to rally, inspire and empower even more people to not only turn off their lights, but to go beyond the hour by committing to ongoing changes for the benefit of the planet. Our team of bilingual educators are running a variety of events in response to this exciting event. Please contact us for information on initiatives in your local area.

Pioneered in Sydney in 2007 as a stand against climate change, in just four years Earth Hour has become a global mass movement uniting hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Last year, 128 countries and more than 4000 cities switched off.
