Spring with a taste of Latin America at Addison Road’s Latin Garden
17/09/2013
Spring has started and the Latin Gardeners can’t stay quiet. After a productive and active winter the Latin Garden members have tasted the love for growing their own food. They will take it further by starting a very exciting new spring project showcasing the most emblematic traditional growing system: the Milpa (corn, beans, chilli and zucchini).

Along with the gardening activities, the SLP will support the process by running a workshop series, in October 2013, on Food Loving tips to avoid wasting their very much loved crops. So if you are interested, keep an eye out for the details to be announced soon, and come along!
The Latin Garden will need more help with their project so if you are keen to learn about this traditional growing system, want to have fun in the garden and have fun, you are invited to join the group!
