The Ethnic Communities’ Council extends its sympathies and support to the people of Beirut and Lebanon following the deadly tragedy that occurred last Thursday.

Lebanese Australians have been the backbone of our multicultural communities and their contribution has been, and continues to be, a vital part of our shared heritage.

The Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW as the largest multicultural peak body representing the ethnic communities across NSW, wishes to extend its support and solidarity to those suffering  in Beirut, and the many destitute families in this time of need.

We will continue to support Lebanese communities in Australia during this crisis in any way we can.
