Multicultural NSW Opens Applications for Stronger Together Festival and Event Grants
Multicultural NSW has opened applications for the 2026–27 Stronger Together Festival and Event Grants Program, which provides funding for multicultural and multifaith community groups to deliver festivals and events celebrating cultural diversity across NSW.
Grants of between $5,000 and $20,000 are available per event or festival.
Key Dates
- Applications close: 4pm, Monday 13 July 2026
- Events must take place: between 1 October 2026 and 30 September 2027
- Online information session: 23 June 2026 at 10am (registration required — see below)
Please note that only one grants round is available for 2026–27, so community organisations are encouraged to apply early.
What the Grants Fund
The program supports festivals and events that:
- Promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding
- Engage with a broad cross-section of the NSW community
- Enable multicultural communities to celebrate, preserve, and share their traditions
- Are accessible to the public and welcoming for everyone in NSW
Who Can Apply
Eligible multicultural and multifaith community organisations can apply. Applications must be submitted through the SmartyGrants portal on the Multicultural NSW website.
