AAMI Park Stadium, also known as the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, is one of Melbourneโ€™s most accessible sporting venues. The venue is located in the Sports and Entertainment Precinct in the Melbourne City Centre. It is home to NRL Melbourne Storm, Melbourne Rebels, and the A-League teams Melbourne Victory FC and Melbourne City FC.

About the storyteller

Sahily Carrero is 29 years old, she arrived in Australia with a suitcase full of dreams three years ago as an international student to learn English. She is interested in sports, especially soccer. She had an accident and the doctors amputated her right arm and removed some skin from her legs, which caused some health problems. After the accident, she discovered that football and sports gave her the opportunity to recover. Currently, she is a trainer in Gomum's organisation and is helping others connect and be positive. She says, ”I hope that my story motivates all people, especially those with disabilities. The game makes you feel alive again, it makes you feel free.”
