Our skin is the largest organ in our body. There are many Australians who suffer from a long-term condition of the skin thatย can have an impact on their physical health as well as their self-esteem, mental health and wellbeing.ย ย Dermatologists are specialist medical doctors. They are the specialists in conditions of the skin, hair and nails. Theyย are able to diagnose, treat and manage more than 3,000 skin conditions. Dermatologists help people with conditions like psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, acne, alopecia, skin infections and skin cancer.ย Dr Pablo Fernandez Penas, who is a Fellow ofย The Australasian College of Dermatologists, the training and peak membership organisation for specialist dermatologists in Australia. He will be sharing some helpful information for people with skin conditions so they can improve their wellbeing.
