The Chair, Deputy Chair and the CEO of the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW recently met with the Hon. Steven Kamper, to congratulate him on his appointment as the newly appointed NSW Minister for Multiculturalism, Small Business, Sport and Lands and Property. He has also been the MP for Rockdale since 2015.
The Minister was able to hear about the various activities, programs and projects being delivered that build capacity in our communities and has committed to visiting our office in Waterloo.
During the meeting various priorities and challenges facing our communities were raised as well as discussions on how the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW, as a state-based peak body, is able to assist the Minister in his various portfolios.
