The ECCNSW recently delivered the Vote Talk Program to inform culturally and linguistically diverse communities about the electoral process for Local Government elections.
There were 80 community Information sessions delivered in 8 languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Greek, Korean, Hindi, and Nepali across several locations, including community centres and local libraries.
These sessions covered topics including: checking enrollment, where and when to vote, and how to vote (completing ballot papers).
ECCNSW is very proud of its flagship Program and looks forward to assisting the Australian Electoral Commission during the Federal elections in 2025.
