1st of February 2024 was the 40th anniversary of Medicare, which provides access to a wide range of health and hospital services at low or no cost, regardless of people circumstances.
Services Australia has developed a Medicare resources for community groups webpage. On their page you will find an eKit with resources such as talking points, factsheets and self-print posters on a variety of Medicare topics.

For Multicultural communities
Some people may be eligible for Medicare benefits and not realise it. They have information about eligibility on their website.
Services Australia also offers translation services for those who may need it, and has specialist Multicultural Service Officers who can help migrant and refugee communities connect with their services.
