Mental Health Resources in More Languages for Refugees:
Moving to a new country can be exciting, but there are also many challenges. For people from refugee background, it can take time to ease into a new routine and make new connections. We encourage you to look out for the refugee community and to care for them and their wellbeing.
The Department of Health has expanded the languages for some of the mental health resources that can help the community, including:
Factsheets about looking after your mental health in Assyrian, Burmese, Dari, Dinka, Hazaragi, Swahili, and Tigrinya;
A stakeholder toolkit with campaign information, social media images and copy, newsletter and web content it is also available.
