ECCNSW Celebrated its Annual General Meeting

On Sunday, March 16th, 2025, ECCNSW held its Annual General Meeting, where member representatives and the Board reviewed the key accomplishments of the past year, alongside other important administrative tasks.

The discussion focused on ECCNSW’s transition from an Incorporated Association to a non-profit Company Limited by Guarantee, marking the beginning of a new chapter after 49 years of operation.

This historic shift will strengthen ECCNSWโ€™s corporate governance, allowing the organization to refocus its efforts on strategy, risk management, service excellence, member and community engagement, and advocacy.

As a statewide peak body, we remain committed to prioritizing and advocating for our members, as well as addressing the broader needs of multilingual, multifaith, and multicultural communities.

We look forward to celebrating the rich 50 year legacy of the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW, along with its members, life members, staff and volunteers, stakeholders and supporters.
