ECCNSW Stall at Seniors Festival

As a part of Seniors Week, the Ethnic Communities Council of NSW participated. in Burwood Council’s  Seniors Expo.

 During the event, the ECCNSW Inner West Sector Support Development Officer provided information in language on the Inner West Region Commonwealth Home Support Funded Aged Care Services , while the ECCNSW  Vote Talk Program Coordinator offered guidance on understanding Australia’s voting process.

ECCNSW disseminated this information in complementary ECCNSW canvas bags that enabled many to take the information home with them

Other topics covered by exhibitors included aged care services, wills and power of attorney, pension-related matters, and safety information.  

The event was well-attended, with 150 local residents engaging with numerous service providers, including ECCNSW member organisations such as CASS and the Australian Nursing Home Foundation.

 The event’s overall success was contributed to by live music, entertainment, and a selection of delicious food.
