The Australian Government, working with state and territory governments, is making it easier for registered and licensed workers to work where the work is, as the best opportunities aren’t always close to home.
From 1 July 2022, JobPass will benefit more businesses and workers, as more work licences and registrations become part of the Automatic Mutual Recognition of Occupational Registration scheme.
Thanks to JobPass, work licences and registrations – including those in the building and construction sector – are now automatically recognised interstate, without delays, additional fees and lengthy paperwork.
It is especially important that this information is made available to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and to this end translated information materials have been produced which we hope you will be able to publish through your media outlet.
