NSW and ACT SETSCoP Forum Brings Together Settlement Sector at ECCNSW

On 8 April 2026, the Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW (ECCNSW) hosted the NSW and ACT Settlement Engagement and Transition Support Community of Practice (SETSCoP) State and Territory Forum at its Waterloo office.

The forum brought together organisations and professionals from across the settlement sector to discuss emerging issues, challenges, and opportunities affecting people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, while also providing a valuable platform to connect, exchange experiences, and strengthen collaboration across settlement, education, and community services to support positive outcomes for diverse communities.

Discussions highlighted the importance of partnership, community-led approaches, and ongoing information sharing in responding to the evolving needs of refugee and migrant communities across NSW and the ACT.

ECCNSW sincerely thanks everyone who attended and contributed to the forum. The discussions and shared perspectives reflected the sector’s strong commitment to working together to better support.
