Official Voting Guide for the Farrer By-Election
The Farrer by-election is taking place on Saturday, 9 May 2026 and early voting is already underway.
The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) has released the official guide to the by-election, which contains all the essential information voters need, including when and where to vote, the options available, what to expect at the polling place, and how to correctly complete a ballot paper.
Importantly, the official guide is available in Italian and Nepali, making it easier for community members who speak these languages to participate with confidence.
