Season 2 of NITV Radio’s “Speak My Language: Disability” Launches
The second season of NITV Radio’s Speak My Language: Disability series has officially begun, with the first episode now available. The opening interview highlights the world of physical disability rugby league and features Indigenous player Dr Alex Smith.
This episode marks the beginning of a seven-part series that celebrates the stories of Indigenous Australians living with disability while pursuing their passions. Listeners will hear a range of inspiring conversations covering topics such as blind fishing, the connection between art and well-being, and the power of poetry.
Hosted by Lowanna Grant and Kerri-Lee Harding, each episode offers practical insights, including information on accessing relevant services and firsthand advice from those with lived experience.
