Sydney Water bills will rise from October the 1st and support is available

The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) published its Final Determination on Sydney Waterโ€™s prices for 2025โ€“30.

Sydney Water bills will change from 1 October. A typical bill will rise by 13.8% (including inflation) with annual increases of around 5.1% plus inflation over the next four years.

Support is available for customers who need itย 

For a water and wastewater customer using 200 kL a year โ€“ approximately what a four-person household would consume โ€“ the bill will increase by about $168 (including inflation) in the first year, and on average about $77 each year after that.
