Sydney Water bills will rise from October the 1st and support is available
The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) published its Final Determination on Sydney Waterโs prices for 2025โ30.
Sydney Water bills will change from 1 October. A typical bill will rise by 13.8% (including inflation) with annual increases of around 5.1% plus inflation over the next four years.
Support is available for customers who need itย
For a water and wastewater customer using 200 kL a year โ approximately what a four-person household would consume โ the bill will increase by about $168 (including inflation) in the first year, and on average about $77 each year after that.
