Vote Talk Evaluation Highlights Impactful Outreach to CALD Communities

The Vote Talk Final Evaluation feedback session with Bilingual Facilitators and representatives from the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) was a resounding success.

Rebecca Hateley – Assistant Director, Community Engagement and Trent Muldoon – Senior Advisor, Community Engagement, expressed their appreciation for the depth and quality of the discussion, particularly the valuable insights that emerged from the interactive Mentimeter survey conducted during this meeting.  They were particularly appreciative of the innovative outreach strategies employed by facilitators to effectively deliver the program to hard-to-reach CALD communities.

Facilitators shared firsthand reflections and recommendations based on their recent delivery of the Vote Talk program. Rebecca and Trent greatly appreciated the Bilingual facilitators’ contribution as this would help the AEC in shaping future strategies for inclusive, culturally responsive voter education.
